A shower puff is about six inches across and sits in your palm. To use it on your back you have to twist your shoulder into a position it doesn't want to hold, and you last about four seconds. A long-handled brush reaches, but the head is rigid — it slides over the curve of your back instead of pressing into it.
The African net is 25.5 inches long and holds no shape at all. You hold one end in each hand and pull it across your back like a towel. Every inch of skin gets contact, with pressure you control, for as long as you want.
How it works

Wet it and add your soap. The open weave lathers hard — you'll use less product than you did with a puff.

Pull it back and forth. One end in each hand, across your back and shoulders. Ten seconds a side is plenty.

Hang it up. Nylon dries in minutes. That's the point — a wet loofah is a damp sponge sitting in a warm room.
What this won't do
It won't clear cystic acne. That's inflammation under the skin, and scrubbing it will make it angrier, not better — see a dermatologist for that one.
It won't work overnight. You are removing a build-up that took months to accumulate. Give it two weeks of daily use before you judge it.
And it is not gentle. First few uses, your skin will be pink afterwards. If you want a soft, spa-like wash, this is the wrong product and we'd rather you knew that now than after it arrives. If it turns out not to be for you, you have 30 days to send it back.
